How Cold Snap makes money

Every "Get deal" button sends you to the retailer through a tracked link. If you buy within the retailer's tracking window, the store pays Cold Snap a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and we never see what you bought.

How deals get here

Deals marked "sample" are placeholders with made-up stores, there to show the layout while the site is new. Real deals are picked by hand.

  1. Each morning we scan the winter and holiday sale pages at partner stores.
  2. We keep only real drops of 20% or more, checked against recent price history, so an inflated "was" price doesn't count.
  3. We post the deal with its end date and a tracked link.
  4. We watch which deals people actually buy and post more of those.
